Job Description

We are hiring a Sales Officer for our seed sales division in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will focus on promoting and selling high-quality seeds to farmers, distributors, and retailers, while driving business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Promote and sell a wide range of agricultural seeds to farmers, distributors, and retailers in the Kolhapur district.
2. Identify and onboard new distributors and retailers to expand the sales network.
3. Conduct field visits to demonstrate seed products and educate farmers on their benefits and usage techniques.
4. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies.
5. Provide after-sales support to customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
6. Conduct market research to analyze competitors, customer preferences, and emerging trends in the seed market.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related fields. MBA in Agri-Business Management is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in seed sales or agricultural sales in Maharashtra.
3. Strong understanding of crop patterns and the agricultural landscape in the Kolhapur region.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
5. Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English languages.
6. Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
7. Familiarity with CRM tools and basic MS Office applications.
