Assistant Manager Sales

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:



  • Manage a set of dealerships and dealer teams to achieve business parameters like volumes, market share, collection, deliveries, and spare part sales.

  • Handle inquiry generation and management (CDMS).

  • Develop new dealerships along with the Channel team.

  • Ensure a viable distribution network by appointing dealers and sub-dealers for appropriate market coverage.

  • Implement specific incentive schemes for dealers.

  • Participate in the development and/or execution of field activities.

  • Ensure availability of trained manpower at dealerships and develop them for pre-sales and sales processes.

  • Conduct training on new product features/modifications.

  • Execute company strategy at dealerships along with local-level sales promotion campaigns and product launches.

  • Scrutinize the financial health of the dealer.

  • Liaison with financial institutions and banks to explore new avenues for retail financing.

  • Track competitor activities and capture feedback on product performance.



Preferred Industries:


Sales



Education Qualification:


Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical, Automobile, or Agriculture fields.



General Experience:


1 to 5 years of relevant experience in Sales.



Critical Experience:



  • 1 - 5 years of relevant sales experience.

  • Exposure to 1 - 2 diverse markets (different states).

  • Experience in rural markets.

  • Basic understanding of the farm industry, tractors, and implements.
